Kevin is a partner in the Employment section.
Throughout his years of practice, Kevin has acted for employers and senior executives. He has practised in all areas of employment law including:
- Claims of unfair and wrongful dismissal
- Redundancy (including major reorganisation/restructuring involving more than 100 employees at risk of redundancy)
- Breach-of-contract claims (including seeking injunctive relief in relation to the operation and application of restrictive covenants)
Kevin also advises on all non-contentious areas including drafting contracts of employment, policies and employee handbooks.
Kevin has extensive experience and expertise as an advocate, having appeared in employment tribunals and courts across the whole of the UK. He has appeared on behalf of major national employers throughout his career and continues to appear as an advocate in both the tribunal and the courts.
Throughout his career Kevin has presented extensively at seminars and marketing events. He has been responsible for the delivery of training programs including day or half day presentations and workshops.
Kevin holds a diploma in workplace mediation and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Formerly a prosecutor for health and safety/regulatory matters in the public sector, on joining private practice he continued to advise and act for major national and regional employers. He has advised extensively on non-contentious aspects of health and safety, including drafting appropriate policies. He has advised on the application of health and safety legislation within the workplace.
