Appeal court upholds verdict that wife must stay in ‘loveless’ marriage

Simon Beccle, partner in the leading Family department at Payne Hicks Beach features in the article concerning his client, Mrs Tini Owens, first published in The Times online on 24 March 2017 and is reproduced with kind permission. 

The Court of Appeal Judgment in this highly unusual contested divorce between Simon's client, Mrs Tini Owens and her husband, Mr Hugh Owens has now been handed down.  Three Appeal Court Judges, led by the President of the Family Division, Sir James Munby, refused Mrs Owens appeal to divorce her husband.
