Payne Hicks Beach expands its sponsorship of the British Sailing Team

The firm is delighted to announce that it has expanded its sponsorship of various members of the British Sailing Team and the latest additions are:

  1. Giles Scott who is the heir apparent to Sir Ben Ainslie in the single handed Finn class. Giles has been dominant since 2012, not only winning his last seven international regattas but most races within them. He is Britain's best bet for Rio Gold in the sailing events;
  2. John Pink and Stu Bithell in the 49er class. Stu won a Silver in London but due to the light winds expected in Rio, has teamed up to sail with John in the 49er class where PHB also sponsors Dylan Fletcher/Alain Sign and Dave Evans/Ed Powys;
  3. Ben Saxton and Nicola Groves in the Nacra 17 catamaran class. To have a mixed crew is a new invention for Rio. Having been second in the world rankings, Ben has not had a good season in 2014 but he has every hope for Rio, having recently teamed up with Nicola.
