Her first seat was in Dispute Resolution, where she assisted with commercial, fraud, probate, chancery, property, defamation and privacy disputes. Her second seat was in Private Client, where she worked on Wills, estate, trust and tax planning. She will qualify in September 2018.
Emily holds an MA in Law from the University of Bristol for which she was awarded a Distinction and prizes for being the highest performing student on both years of the course. She was also awarded a Distinction grade for the Legal Practice Course.
Additionally, Emily holds a First Class Honours degree in English Literature. Her undergraduate dissertation was shortlisted for the 'English Literature Dissertation of the Year Prize'. She also holds an M.Phil in Modern Literature, for which she was awarded the highest mark on the course for both the dissertation and final overall grade.
In her spare time, Emily writes book and theatre reviews for national media, including the TLS. She has also edited a military history of the conflict in Sierra Leone.Back to Other Legal Staff
