Emily is an Associate Solicitor in the Family department.

Her work covers all aspects of private family law including: children, divorce/civil partnership, co-habitation and complex financial disputes.  Many of her cases have an international element and involve high net worth individuals. She also has a keen interest in cases with a public law element such as adoption and special guardianship orders or those involving non-traditional family units.

Cases of interest include:

Re: P (Adoption: Leave Provisions) [2007] EWCA Civ 616, H v H [2014] EWHC 760 (Fam) and assisting on the case of SJ v RA v RF [2014] EWHC 4054 (Fam).

Emily is a member of Resolution, a mentor for law students at Coram’s Fields (one of the firm’s chosen charities) and helped to found and chair the charity committee at Payne Hicks Beach.

In her spare time Emily enjoys running a very long way.  She has completed a number of ironman triathlons and ultra marathons and was 9th lady in the Marathon de Sables in 2015. To offset this she also enjoys the theatre, baking and reading.

Qualified 2008, joined Payne Hicks Beach 2011, promoted to Associate June 2016.
