Georgina advises on all areas of property law for the owners of Landed Estates, as well as advising on sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold property generally.


In particular Georgina is experienced at advising Trustees in relation to property held in trusts, as well as succession issues under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986, Farm Business Tenancies, leases of sporting rights, restrictive covenants, and easements.

Recent notable experience has included advising on the sale by trustees of a landed estate in lots, with permitted sub-sales of the Grade II* main house, the farm buildings for development and the surrounding farm land; advising on the re-purchase of an important substantial home which forms part of a 16,000 acre estate for a family who sold the property in the 1970s; and assisting with the sale in parts of a large area of agricultural land held under a bare trust including negotiations regarding an overage provision, the surrender of a Farm Business Tenancy and dealing with Entitlements to the Single Farm Payment.

Georgina is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.

Georgina studied Natural Sciences at Durham University.

Qualified April 2013, joined Payne Hicks Beach November 2013.
